The next social media challenge is to hook everything up to Hootsuite!
This is getting more complicated. We are going to add a picture. This is still getting complicated and more complicated, think the picture is nice!
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbbbb ccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc dddddddddddddddddddddd mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk pppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc gggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg sssssssssssssssssss fffffffffffff vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv. Finally it actually works, the text wraps itself around the picture, as long as you remember that there are no words which has 26 letters in it!
Whilst I can see the use of this blog on a personal level, I’m still struggling to see the use of this in the Counselling Service at the University. So need to think about this! Initial thoughts centre around:
- information sharing
- encouraging conversation
- clients sharing their stories
Many students at the University already engage with many social media tools, so an important question would be:
- Will students engage with a University motivated social media agenda which attemps to draw students into the academic and non-academic life of the institution or prefer to keep their social media preferences personal and private?
What do people think?
This course feels like entering a labyrinth, not quite sure where it will lead, but hoping that I’ll find a way out at some stage. Already feels like a different world, a different kind of reality and I guess I’m worried about learning the different rules, procedures and the technical know how in order to make this work. A question occurs to me. Who am I going to be in this new world…an adventurer/explorer comes to mind.
